Reunions are great!

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

We just finished 2 reunions in the Sierras. The first was the Ted and Nola Myrl Christensen Reunion held at Donner Lake. With my parents, all of ther children, most of the spouses and many grand and great-grand children we numbered close to 60 in attendance. Out of a possible 115, that’s not too bad. We then began our immediate family reunion, moving to a condo near Zephyr Cove at South Shore, Lake Tahoe. The 17 of us (Logan is still in Peru as a missionary) thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing pace and the chance to visit with each other for 3 more days.

Number 15 is here!

Baby Ike at 15 minutesIke Alexander Nelson made his debut on 11/14/09, weighing in at 9 pounds, 15 ounces and stretching out to 22 1/2 inches. But baby and mother, Amber, are doing well. He likes to be held and cuddle. How nice?  He’s already losing the chubby cheeks.  He likes to look over the shoulder of whoever is holding him.  He is a curious child.

Busy Summer

With the twins both marrying this year and an extended family reunion in Utah and and office move, this has been a very busy year.  I thought things would slow down after Lindsay’s wedding, but there doesn’t seem to be any more of the elusive ‘free moments’.
